In recent weeks a number of people have been asking me for nest box plans for purple martins; finally I've found the link for the BC Ministry of the Environment that succinctly describes the species status and approximate nest box dimensions. It's a .pdf file that takes a while to load, but it's an excellent 1997 primer on martins of this general region.
